He was born August 23, 1886 in Johnson County, died January 24, 1958 in Veterans Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia from a heart attack, and was buried in Blair Cemetery in Barnetts Creek. According to his death certificate, Walter Frank Conley died from "Shock - Due to contact with high tension electric wire - Thrown from top of barn to ground." Also on this certificate, his birthplace is listed as Kentucky, his birth date as September 6, 1890, his marital status as married, his wife as Ella Conley, his occupation as paint salesman, his residence as Staffordsville, his parents as Winston Conley (b. Kentucky) and Sarah Hamilton (b. Kentucky), the informant as Mrs. Ella Conley of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and the burial place as Silver Hill.

According to Ohio death record transcripts, Herbert E. Holbrook was born about 1890 in Kentucky, and died March 1, 1981 in Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Highland County, at the age of 91. He was widowed at the time of his death.

Mary Blair's maiden name comes from a death record of a baby girl that was stillborn on September 11, 1875 in Johnson County. Her parents are listed as John Senters (b. Clay County) and Mary Blair (b. Johnson County). There was also an unnamed boy that was born to John and Mary in November of 1876. That was probably Thomas.

When Tom Centers' World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was working for B.S. & K.R. Railroad in Riceville, Johnson County, that his closest relative was Liddie Center (wife) of Denver, Johnson County, and that he was born in 1877. He was found to be of medium height and stout build, and he had blue eyes and black hair. Not being able to read or write, he signed the card with an "X."

According to her obituary, Lydia Conley Centers (age 76), daughter of the late Tom and Sarah Reynolds Conley and a former resident of Denver for most of her life, was born March 22, 1880 in Johnson County, died May 23, 1956 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Stapleton, in Volga, and was buried in Spradlin Cemetery in Denver. She was survived by her husband, Tom Centers; 1 son, Adron Centers (of Volga); 3 daughters, Mrs. Ida Stapleton (Volga), Mrs. Marie Ratliff (Sitka), and Mrs. Della Fairchilds (Denver); 2 sisters, Mrs. Julia Spradlin (Denver) and Mrs. Della Evans (Paintsville); 23 grandchldren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
