Florence Fannin was the sister of Bryant Benjamin Fannin.

Sarah Ann McKenzie was the sister of James H. McKenzie and Nancy Eveline McKenzie.

William Francis and Matilda Lester Skaggs were the great-great-grandparents of country music star, Ricky Skaggs.

From Barry Skaggs on May 26, 2017:

Matilda Lester Skaggs is indeed the great-great-grandmother of Ricky Skaggs. He is my first cousin. His father Hobert was my father’s (Homan) older brother. They had a third brother named Okel who died in combat during WWII.
I have read elsewhere that Matilda was born in 1855, which makes more sense. Her husband was Francis Skaggs. They had a son named, Cornelius and his wife was Carrie (Osborn). They had I think 9 or 10 kids. My grandfather John M. Skaggs, I’m pretty sure was the oldest. Some of his siblings were named Calvin, Dessie, Dixie, Homer, Lexie, and Harrison.
John M. Skaggs was born December 31, 1901, and Matilda was his paternal grandmother, so she would have had to have been born around 1840s or 1850s.
My grandfather, John M. was married to Perl (Osborn). They had three sons, Hobert, Okel, and Homan.
Hobert was married to Dorothy (Thompson). They had 4 children, Linda, Garold, Ricky, and Gary
My father Homan is married to Wanda Sue (Childress) of Louisa. They had Barry (me) and my sister, Sandra.
Sandra is married to Greg Snyder, and their sons are Alex and Adam.
I was married to Carla (Harris) and now divorced. My wife now is Nancy (Michael). Carla and I had one son, Jonathan.
He is married to Allison (Zarem).
By the way, if you are on facebook, this guy is a historian and has written several books about the Skaggs family – especially during the frontier years.
Hope that helps and thanks for your work in this regard.
