Information found on findagrave.com shows that Robert and Minnie Hopson Akers are both buried in Akers Family Cemetery in East Kermit, Mingo County, West Virginia, although no photos of their headstones are provided.

He was born in May of 1865 in Kentucky, died November 23, 1934 in Elk Fork, Morgan County, Kentucky, and is buried in Bailey Cemetery in Morgan County, Kentucky. Sherman Blankenship married (2) SARAH CANTRELL on August 19, 1924 in Morgan County, Kentucky. She was born about 1886 in Kentucky.

According to his death certificate, Sherman Blankenship died November 23, 1934 in Elkfork, Morgan County, Kentucky, from heart dropsy with a contributing factor of tuberculosis of the lungs. Information found on the Johnson County Historical Society's website shows that T. F. (Thomas) Sammons lived from December 15, 1854 to August 15, 1923, and was buried in Old Preston Cemetery in Thelma, Johnson County, Kentucky, and that Nancy M. (Music) Sammons lived from August 11, 1855 to October 23, 1944, and was buried in the same cemetery. The cemetery also goes by the name of Johnson Cemetery.

According to her death certificate, Nancy Music Sammons died October 23, 1944 in rural Johnson County, Kentucky, from chronic valvular heart disease. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Kentucky, her birth date as March 11, 1855, her marital status as widowed, her husband as Thomas Sammons, her parents as John Music (b. Kentucky) and Minerva Baldridge (b. Kentucky), the informant as Joe Stambaugh of River, Kentucky, and the burial place as Buskirk, Kentucky.

According to her obituary, Nancy Music Sammons was born March 11, 1855 in Johnson County, died October 23, 1944 at the home of a daughter, and was buried in the family cemetery in Thelma, Kentucky. Information found on findagrave.com and a photo of their headstone shows that Rev. William L. Davis lived from 1889 to 1967, and was buried in Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia, and that Martha Davis lived from 1891 to 1987, and was buried in the same cemetery.

According to West Virginia death record transcripts, William Lee Davis, son of James Davis and Trin Arrowood, was born about 1889, and died April 5, 1967 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia. He was a retired miner and minister, and he was married at the time of his death.

She married JOHN MILTON BLEVINS, son of JAMES BLEVINS and MARY A. TACKETT, about 1916. He was born May 27, 1877 in Kentucky, and died in 1946. John Blevins married (1) LORETTA "RETTIE" WILLIAMS, daughter of ELI T. WILLIAMS and OLIVA J. DAVIDSON, about 1909. She was born August 1, 1891 in Kentucky, and died March 18, 1914 in Carter County, Kentucky.

Notes: Missouri "Zera" Reeder's name is found as Zera Reeder in almost all instances. It is found to be Missouri Reeder on son Wilford's birth record.

According to Kentucky marriage records, Eli T. Williams (b. Kentucky, age 23, 1st marriage) married Oliva J. Davidson (b. Kentucky, age 28, 2nd marriage) on November 29, 1877. They were both living in Elliott County at the time.

When John Milt Blevin's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Grayson, Carter County, Kentucky, he stated that was a brick wheeler for Harrison Walker in Olive Hill, Carter County, that his closest relative was Zera Blevins of Olive Hill, and that he was born May 27, 1877. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had blue eyes and brown hair.

Information found on findagrave.com shows that Zera Reeder Blevins was buried in Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Carter County, Kentucky, although no photo of her headstone is provided.

"Zera Blevins, 98, of Shelby, died Thursday, March 11 in Heritage Care Center at Shelby.

"Mrs. Blevins was born April 7, 1900, in Carter County, a daughter of the late William Winston and Margaret Roberta Eden Reeder.

"She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Milton Blevins in 1946; three daughters, Hildreth Binion, Pauline Rose, and Marie Rose; a stepson, Lantford Blevins; and a stepdaughter, Anna Hall.

"Surviving are four sons, Robert Blevins of Olive Hill, Clifford Blevins of Shelby, Franklin Blevins of Mansfield, Ohio, and Rondell Blevins of Milford, Mich.; three daughters Avanell Buns, Sabra White, and Doris Griffitts, all of Shelby; a stepdaughter, Nora Reeder of Strongsville, Ohio; a sister, Vesta Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; 34 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

"Funeral Services were conducted Monday, March 15 at Carter County Funeral Home at Olive Hill. Burial was in Garvin Ridge Cemetery at Olive Hill."

According to her death certificate, Retta Blevins died March 18, 1914 in Carter County from something related to childbirth [hard to read].
