He married VIRGINIA F. "JENNY" BURKS, daughter of RICHARD BURKS and BIOLENDA DOOLIN, August 25, 1920. She was born March 3, 1903 in Morgan County, Kentucky, and died October 21, 1959 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

Notes: Biolenda Doolin's name is spelled "Vilinda" in a number of documents, but according to Ron Penix: "Jenny Burks married my mom's brother Asa Rigsby and her brother Lonnie Burks married my mom's sister Rosa Rigsby - so there are a lot of double cousins from that. Asa & Jenny's daughter, Manda Rigsby Moore was my source of data and pictures for all the ASA - Jenny Burks Rigsby line. Alas! Manda died last June but she was very thorough about her information and was adamant that I get the spelling correct for her grandma Biolenda Doolin."

Notes: Levinna "Vinnie" Smith was the sister of Henry Clay Smith and Elizabeth Smith.

Also on this certificate, his birthplace is listed as Kentucky, his birth date as April 23, 1889, his marital status as married, his parents as Andy Riggsby and Amanda Blair, the informant as Thomas Smith, and the burial place as the family cemetery in Terryville, Kentucky.

He was born August 12, 1883 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky, died June 25, 1943 in West Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky, and is buried in Cumbo Cemetery in West Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky.

In that book it says that Walbridge Webb married Mint Conley and that their children were Herman (Dugan) Webb (married Eunice Arms), Flossie Webb, Margaret Webb, Roxie Webb, Malta Webb, and Geneva Webb. It also says:

     "Walbridge Webb lives on the old home-place near Dawkins, Kentucky. He has been employed for many years in the railroad yards at Paintsville by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Company."

Walbridge Webb was the brother of Sarah Webb.

According to Kentucky marriage record transcripts, Jasper Webb married Manerva Hannah on November 29, 1860 in Johnson County.

When Walbridge's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was an engine watchman for C & O Railroad Company in Paintsville, that his closest relative was Mintie Webb of Hager Hill, Kentucky, and that he was born August 12, 1883. He was found to be short, of medium build, and he had brown eyes and black hair.

According to her death certificate, there was an unnamed baby girl who was stillborn on April 13, 1911 in Johnson County, and her parents are listed as Walbride Webb (b. Johnson County) and Mint Conley (b. Johnson County).

Information found on the Johnson County Historical Society's website and photos of their headstones shows that Mintie Webb lived from 1882 to 1960, and was buried in Cumbo Cemetery in West Van Lear, and that Walbridge Webb lived from 1879 to 1943, and was buried in the same cemetery.

According to his obituary, Walbridge Webb (age 63), son of Jasper Webb, was a machinist helper for C & O Railway Compnay, and resident of West Van Lear at the time of his death. He died June 25, 1943 after an illness of 6 days. He married Mintie Conley in 1903 in Fort Gay, West Virginia. He was survived by 1 son, H. D. Webb; 3 daughters, Mrs. Roxie Smith, Mrs. Malta DeHart, and Mrs. Geneva Bayes; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Loda Sublett [Loda Webb Sublett] (of Paintsville), Mrs. Addie Akers [Addie Webb Akers] (Catlettsburg), and Mrs. Henry Walters (Shreveport, Louisiana).
