In 1955 she's still at the same address and listed as Mrs. Doshia M. Litteral.

A 1945 city directory for Jackson, Michigan, shows Tilman Litteral and his wife, Florence, living at 1508 Deyo Street, and he's a farmer. In 1946, he's living with his wife, Dorothy F., and is listed next to his daughter, Genoia. In 1949, Tilman's a trucker and still with wife Dorothy F. In 1951, he's a clerk and still with Dorothy. In 1951, Tilman is a clerk, and still with Dorothy. In 1952, Tilman is still a clerk, his wife is listed as Dorothy P, and his son Ermal and his wife, Arleta J., are found in the same directory. In 1960 he's living by himself, he either runs or works at a country fruit market, and his son and his wife are found in the same directory, and they're associated with a country fruit market, as well.

Information found on findagrave.com and a photo of their headstone shows that Tilman Litteral lived from 1901 to 1979, and was buried in Section E in Roseland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan, and that Lillian B. Litteral lived from 1914 to 1986, and was buried in the same cemetery.

She was born January 2, 1888 in Kentucky, died May 25, 1958 in Johnson County, Kentucky, and is buried in Mitchell Price Cemetery in Oil Springs, Johnson County, Kentucky. Georgeann Pendleton married (2) JAMES HENRY "HENRY" PRESTON, son of JAMES PRESTON and ELLA PRICE. He was born in 1877 in Offutt, Johnson County, Kentucky, died September 27, 1962 in Ashland, Boyd County, Kentucky, and is buried in Mitchell Price Cemetery in Oil Springs, Johnson County, Kentucky.

In an article that that appeared in the October 28, 2007 issue of The Salyersville Independent newspaper, written by Todd Preston, president of the Magoffin County Historical Society, "Georgeann was born in 1888 to James 'Jim' Pendleton. Jim was a son of Ira Pendleton. By the way, Georgeann Pendleton was adopted by my great-grandfather George Helton and his 3rd wife Harriet Salyer."

According to Johnson County marriage record transcripts, Fred Rice (age 23) married George Ann Pendleton (age 17) on September 28, 1905.

When Fred Rice's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a self-employed farmer in Oil Springs, Johnson County, Kentucky, that his closest relative was George Ann Rice in Oil Springs, and that he was born March 14, 1882. He was found to be of medium height and stout build, and he had blue eyes and dark-colored hair.

Information found on the Johnson County Historical Society's website and photos of their headstones shows that Georgeann Rice Preston lived from January 2, 1888 to May 25, 1958, and was buried in Mitchell Price Cemetery in Oil Springs, Johnson County, Kentucky, and that Henry Preston lived from 1877 to 1962, and was buried in the same cemetery.

According to Kentucky death record transcripts, Georgeann Preston died May 25, 1958 in Johnson County the age of 70.

According to his obituary, James Henry Preston (age 85), son of the late James and Ella Price Preston, was a teacher, a mine foreman, and a resident of Oil Springs at the time of his death. He was born in Offutt, Johnson County, died September 27, 1962 in King's Daughters Hospital in Ashland, and was buried in Price Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Stella Dawson, on February 26, 1929. He was preceded by his 2nd wife, Georgian Rice Preston, on May 25, 1958. He was survived by 4 sons, Homer Preston (of Toledo, Ohio), Forest Preston (Bluefield, West Virginia), J. R. Preston (Chicago, Illinois), James Cecil Preston (Russell, Kentucky), and Roosevelt Preston (Oil Springs); 2 daughters, Lena Mellon (Catlettsburg) and Irene Hugh (Ashland); 2 brothers, Forest Preston (Offutt) and Garland Preston (Paintsville); and 1 sister, Elizabeth Golden (Sioux Falls, South Dakota). Notes: Henry Harrison Blair has been reported to be the illegitimate son of Margaret K. Blair, along with his brothers Joseph and William. No luck was had in proving this. William Blair, though, died in 1916 from double pneumonia, and on his death certificate his parents were listed as Elliott Sherman and Nancy J. Blair. Nancy is Margaret's sister. It could be that Harrison and William were cousins.

When Henry Harrison Blair's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a self-employed blacksmith in Riceville, Johnson County, that his closest relative was Mrs. Louisa Blair of Riceville, and that he was born February 17, 1873. She was born May 27, 1871 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, died July 16, 1952 in Falcon, Magoffin County, Kentucky, and is buried in John Quincy Adams Bailey Cemetery in Falcon, Magoffin County, Kentucky.

Information found on findagrave.com shows that Benjamin and Sarah Lemaster Caudill were both buried in Bailey Cemetery in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky. No headstone photos are provided.

According to his death certificate, B. L. Caudill died July 2, 1942 in Falcon from Bright's disease and acute nephritis. According to Kentucky one death record transcript, B. L. Caudill died July 1, 1942 in Falcon, Magoffin County. According to another, he died July 2, 1942 in Magoffin County at the age of 72. [His death certificate clearly says July 2, 1942.]

According to her death certificate, Susan Caudill died July 16, 1952 in Falcon from a cerebral hemorrhage. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Magoffin County, her birth date as May 27, 1871, her marital status as widowed, her parents as Issic Lemaster and Serah Sparks, the informant as Ruby Powers, and the burial place as Baily Cemetery in Falcon.

Susan Lemaster Caudill's obituary, found on findagrave.com:

"Susan (Lemaster) Caudill, daughter of the late Issac and Sarah (Sparks) Lemaster was born on May 27, 1871 in Magoffin County and departed this life on July 16, 1952.

"She was united in marriage to B. L. Caudill and he preceded her in death.

"Susan was the mother of 8 children, 4 of whom survive her; Julia Caudill of Wheelersburg, OH; Chester Caudill of Wakefield, Ohio; Charles Caudill of Portsmouth, OH and Mrs. Ruby (Ollie) Powers of Falcon, KY.

"Those children preceding her in death were Mrs. Claude (Hester) Conley; Lucy Caudill, Rosa Caudill and an infant daughter.

"She is survived by a brother, W. M. "Bill" Lemaster of Fairborn, OH along with 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

"She joined the State Road United Baptist Church on March 17, 1907.

"Services were conducted by Rev. Scott Castle and J. H. Montgomery and burial followed in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Kelley and Caudill Funeral Home."

Also listed are Susan E. (wife, born in May of 1871 in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, she's given birth to 4 children and all are still living, age 29), Julia M. (daughter, born in February of 1892 in Kentucky, age 8), Chester (son, born in March of 1894 in Kentucky, age 6), Hester (daughter, born in March of 1896 in Kentucky, age 4), and Charles (son, born in January of 1898 in Kentucky, age 2).

Also listed is Susie (wife, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, first married at 19, age 58). They are living next to daughter Hester.

On page 7 of the 1940 census for District 77-5 in Magoffin County, Kentucky (dated April 8, 1940), Lewis Caudill is listed as the head of the household for house #48, he's a farmer, born in Kentucky, he's living in the same house that he was in 1935, he has a 7th grade education, and he's 70 years old.
