When Raney Smith's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in West Liberty, Morgan County, Kentucky, he stated that he was working in the timbering industry for Lenox Sawmill Company in Lenox, Morgan County, that his closest relative was Rebecca Smith in Jeptha, Morgan County, that he was living in Jeptha, and that he was born December 10, 1883. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had blue eyes and brown hair.

Henry's mother is buried there as well.

According to his obituary, H. C. Bolin (age 76), son of the late Paralines and Martha Ferguson Bolin, was a retired Oil Springs merchant. He died January 13, 1971 following an extended illness, and was buried in the family cemetery in Oil Springs. He was survived by his wife, Mauda Turner Bolin; 1 son, Herman Bolin (of Lexington); 4 daughters, Imogene Blair (Troy, Ohio), Pauline Conley (Troy), Shirley Cormney (Bowling Green), and Janice Preston (Stika); 1 brother, Manuel Bolin (Olive Hill) and 4 sisters, Celina Gilley (Covington), Laura Seaboet (Ashland), Anna Travis (Tampa, Florida), and Mae Turner (Tampa). GREEN WRIGHT, son of ANNA CANTRELL and JONATHAN W. WRIGHT, was born April 25, 1892 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, and died August 28, 1966 in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. He married JEWELL CANTRELL, daughter of THOMAS H. CANTRELL and ELIZABETH WILLIAMS, August 10, 1915 in Morgan County, Kentucky. She was born about 1902 in Kentucky, and died March 4, 1959 in Scioto County, Ohio.

Notes: According to Kentucky marriage record transcripts, Green Wright married Jewell Cantrell on August 10, 1915 in Morgan County.

When Green Wright's World War I draft registration card was filled out on June 5, 1917 in West Liberty, Morgan County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a farmer in Ophir, Kentucky, that he was married, and that he was born April 25, 1892 in Kentucky. He was found to be tall, of medium build, and he had blue eyes and dark-colored hair. Not being able to read or write, he signed the card with an "X."

When Green Wright's World War II draft registration card was filled out on April 27, 1942 in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky, he stated that he was self-employed in Flat Fork, Magoffin County, that the person who would always know his address was Jewell Wright, and that he was born April 25, 1892 in Magoffin County. He was found to be 5 feet 11 1/2 inches tall, he weighed 150 pounds, and he had blue eyes, gray hair, and a sallow complexion.

According to Social Security death record transcripts, Green Wright was born April 25, 1891, and died August 15, 1966. He received his Social Security card prior to 1951 in Kentucky, and his last place of residence was in Lucasville, Scioto County, Ohio.

According to Ohio death record transcripts, Green Wright was born about 1891, and died August 28, 1966 in Southern Hills Hospital in Portsmouth, Scioto County, at the age of 75. He was single and living in Scioto County at the time of his death.

According to Ohio death record transcripts, Jewell C. Wright was born about 1903, and died March 4, 1959 at home in Scioto County at the age of 56. She was married at the time of her death.

On page 16 of the 1920 census for District 205 (Coffee Creek) in Morgan County, Kentucky (dated January 14 & 15, 1920), Green Wright is listed as the head of the household for house #143, he's a farmer, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, and he's 27 years old. Also listed is Gewel (wife, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, age 18), and Wesley (son, born in Kentucky, age 1 year 2 months). They are living next to Jewell's brother, Anon.

On page 32 of the 1930 census for District 88-17 (Magisterial District No. 4) in Morgan County, Kentucky (dated April 22, 1930), Green Wright is listed as the head of the household for house #43, he's a farmer, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, first married at age 24, and he's 38 years old. Also listed are Jewel (wife, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, first married at 13, age 27), Wesley (son, born in Kentucky, age 11), Nova (daughter, born in Kentucky, age 8), and Rinda (daughter, born in Kentucky, age 4 years 2 months).

On page 37 of the 1940 census for District 88-17 in Morgan County, Kentucky (dated May 3, 1940), Green Wright is listed as the head of the household for house #296, he's a farmer, born in Kentucky, he's living in the same house that he was in 1935, he has a 4th grade education, and he's 48 years old. Also listed are Jewell (wife, born in Kentucky, 5th grade education, age 37), Rinda (daughter, born in Kentucky, age 14), Alvin (son, born in Kentucky, age 12), and Wayne (son, born in Kentucky, age 9).

    The children of GREEN WRIGHT and JEWELL CANTRELL are:

    2. NOLVA FAY WRIGHT, b. December 31, 1921, Morgan County, Kentucky, d. May 16, 1997, Los Angeles County, California, buried in Beaver Union Cemetery in Beaver, Pike County, Ohio m. RUSSELL O. ROARK, son of CLERENDA "CLARA" JENKINS and CHARLIE ROARK.
      Notes: According to Social Security applications and claims indexes, Nolva Fay Wright Roark was born December 31, 1921 in Morgan County, Kentucky, and died May 16, 1997. Her name was listed as Nolva Fay Wright in May of 1939, as Nolva Foark in July of 1946, and her parents are listed as Green Wright and Jewel Cantrell.
      According to California death record transcripts, Nolva Fay Wright Roark was born December 31, 1921 in Kentucky, and died May 16, 1997 in Los Angeles County. Her father's surname is listed as Wright, and her mother's maiden name as Cantrell.
    3. RINDA WRIGHT, b. 1926, Kentucky.
    4. ALVIN W. WRIGHT, b. November 8, 1927, Morgan County, Kentucky, d. February 5, 2007, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio, m. PAULINE COFFEY.
      Notes: According to Kentucky birth record transcripts, Alvin Wright was born November 8, 1927 in Morgan County to Jull Cantrell.
      According to his obituary found online, Alvin W. Wright (age 79), son of the late Green and Jewell Cantrell Wright, was a home builder/contractor in Springfield, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was born November 8, 1927 in Minefork, Kentucky, and died February 5, 2007 in Essex of Springfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son, Roger D. Wright; 2 brothers, Wesley Wright and Wayne Wright; and 2 sisters, Renda and Nolva. He was survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline Coffey Wright; 1 son, David A. (Jennifer) Wright (of Springfield); 2 daughters, Patricia A. Sherman (Mount Vernon, Ohio) and Peggy A. (Jeffrey) Wright-Patterson (Archbold, Ohio); and 4 grandchildren.
    5. WAYNE WRIGHT, b. 1931, Kentucky.
    6. BONNIE WRIGHT, b. September 4, 1933, Morgan County, Kentucky, d. March 27, 1935, Ophir, Morgan County, Kentucky, buried in Morgan County, Kentucky.
      Notes: According to her death certificate, Bonnie Wright died March 27, 1935 in Ophir, Morgan County, Kentucky, and the cause of death is listed as "Burned." Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Morgan County, her birth date as September 4, 1933, her parents as Green Wright (b. Kentucky) and Jewel Cantrell (b. Kentucky), the informant as Willie Smith of Dingus, and the burial place as Wright Cemetery.
