She was born about 1886 in Kentucky, died March 27, 1947 in Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky, and is buried in Richmond Cemetery in Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky. He married (2) CHRISTINE A. KEEN, daughter of DAVID CROCKETT KEEN and MARY ELIZABETH BAKER. She was born May 8, 1900 in Virginia, died January 22, 1960 in Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky, and was buried in the family cemetery in Van Lear, Johnson County, Kentucky.

Christine Keen was first married to a Paris Adkins (b. 1896). He died in a mine explosion in 1922 in Pike County. She then married a Thomas West (b. 1900), and they can be found on pages 30 & 31 of the 1930 census for District 98-24 (Magisterial District No. 6) in Pike County, Kentucky. He was killed by a train in 1935 in Pike County. According to Kentucky birth records, Peggy E. West was born in 1935 in Johnson County to Christina King. Her name is listed as Peggy Joe Dixon in the 1940 census, so it's possible that Christine was married to a Dixon after Thomas died.

David Crockett Keen's name is listed as just that on page 29 of the 1940 census for District 58-7 in Johnson County, Kentucky, and on his death certificate.
